Brundall World War 1 Commemorations 10th – 11th November 2018

Brundall is holding a Community Weekend of commemorations for the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War 1 on the weekend of 10th to 11th November.

On Saturday 10th November at 10:45 a Memorial Shard will be unveiled and dedicated at the Parish Cemetery.  The Library will be open between 1 and 4pm displaying a selection of children’s war-themed books.

On Sunday 11th November Remebrance Day Services will be held at Brundall, Braydeston and Postwick Churches starting at 10:50.  The Churches will remain open until 3pm.  All the Church bells will Ring Out for Peace at 7:05pm.

There will be an Exhibition in the Memorial Hall between 10am and 3pm on both days.  Refreshments will be available, provided by the W.I..

Posters advertising all the events are located around the village.  Admission is free and visitors to the Memorial Hall are welcome to wear period dress!
