Has it been noted that with the level crossing closed, the residents who live to the E. of the railway will be trapped if the Strumpshaw road under the railway bridge becomes flooded ? The level crossing provides a vital alternative route on foot for people to reach Brundall shops.
Hello David. Network Rail has suspended the closure of the crossing for the time being due to safety concerns following vandalism to the barriers, presumably by people still wishing to cross over the railway line unencumbered.
