Planting Trees in Brundall

Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

We thank the Tree Warden and the BTN for planting 6 trees in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations! The trees were planted to the north of the 1600 woodland at Brundall Countryside Park.

The Parish Council is working together with the Broadland Tree Warden Network. The Co-ordinator is John Fleetwood. Our Brundall Tree Warden is Richard Farley. The BTW has kindly agreed to oversee the woodland at Low Farm Wood and will be assessing the needs of the woodland for 2020 in conjunction with the owners County Farms Estates a Norfolk County Council arm who runs land owned by the Council. Please see the other page on this site Conservation and Trees to read the excellent magazine published by John Fleetwood to keep up with local and worldwide tree issues.

All queries regarding suggestions for planting should be emailed to the Clerk who will ensure they are passed to Richard Farley for assessment.

Please see below a document which gives guidance as to the procedures the Tree Warden Network and all Parish and Town Councils should follow:
