Biodiversity in Brundall

Brundall Parish Council’s Environment Committee has begun work to encourage Brundall to become “greener”.

The Council has now approved a bio-diversity vision statement below. Brundall Parish Council has since signed up to a new 4 year electricity contract for its streetlights with a company that uses greener energy. This follows a five year strategy of switching from SOX lighting to LED. The village is now fully served with LED street lights which has meant usage has fallen from 60 kwh per year to 13 kwh per year.

May 2022 – a new Biodiversity Working Group has been formed to explore ways to improve the village’s biodiversity.
